Project Intern

If you're interested in pursuing a career in the heavy civil construction field, then an internship with CPC may be the jump start you need for a rewarding and challenging career. Internships are available in the following areas: Project Engineering, Project Management and Project Superintendent. Depending on your career goals, an internship will be tailored with experience in one or more of the following areas:

Estimating and Job Costing: Perform take offs, solicit prices, compile estimates of labor, equipment and material to develop competitive bids for large construction projects in the region.

Project Management: Experience in overseeing road and bridge projects, monitoring work progress and material utilization, tracking schedules and work activities and interacting with project owners.

Construction and Flatwork: Hands-on work in the industry to learn the basic skills in road and bridge projects, elements of coordinating labor, materials and equipment in the project and crew leadership.
